Peninsula Piers and Pinots
08 Mar 2020 - 08 Mar 2020
Labor Day Weekend Sunday annually in March at Flinders Foreshore from 12 - 3pm. Limited tickets available on the day until sold out.
Mornington Peninsula is uniquely situated with 3 breezes delivered via Port Phillip Bay, Western Port and Bass Strait. The effect creates ideal conditions for the region's pinots - wines with outstanding flavors, balanced natural acidity and fine tannins. This event has been held annually on the Sunday of the Victorian Labour Day long weekend, since 2002 and is a very popular wine event.
Check back for details of 2020 participating Wineries and to purchase your tickets.
Mornington Peninsula Pinot producers will gather by the sea at our annual Labour Day weekend showcase to taste a range of Pinots along with local food to purchase from George Bass Cafe (part of Flinders Hotel group), Calamari Brothers, Harry's Conchilia, Handmade Icy Poles, soft drinks and coffee from Moto Cafe and live music add to a tasting by the sea. A wonderful range of wines will be available to taste and to enjoy along with a seaside lunch. The annual Piers & Pinots Yacht Race, conducted by the Flinders Yacht Club, will also be run during the long weekend.
Mornington Peninsula Piers & Pinots is an all weather event, held at Flinders foreshore adjacent to the pier. Tickets are $40 per person and each ticket includes a complimentary Riedel tasting glass, tasting notes and all wine tastings between 12noon - 3pm.
